Anyone else with liver transplant for HCC have PT4 explant pathology?

My son (24 years old) had PT4 explant pathology and I’m worried. Wondering how often did your team repeat
Scans and AFP?

@fontanhccmom Hi there. Sorry to hear about the PT4 explant pathology. I was hoping someone would have some experience with this and could offer some input. Other than the concerning pathology, how has your son been doing since the transplant?

@fontanhccmom As you should be. I searched Mayo Connect discussions for your concern. I did not find any related discussions.. I will do a little more digging. I will let you know if I find anything. Have you tried posting this in the transplants support group? You might have more feedback there. I am glad that his recovery is going well.
