Any online support groups for family members of Alcohol Use Disorder?
I am needing an online support group to vent and learn from. Currently going through the hell of a loved one in the family suffering from alcohol use disorder, who fell today and has a brain injury. Will not accept help of any kind. Wants to leave the hospital ama. This is tearing me up, I am older and still working and am also a caregiver for my elderly parent. I don't know who will take care of him, he lives alone and will not accept. The cycle goes on. I just need somewhere to vent without having to go to groups in person. I am in pain and sadness, I loved the person, but am afraid dementia may have already set in, I don't know them anymore, lashes out. I miss him when he wasn't sick.
