@ladybugmg Thanks for posting this research about mindfulness and anxiety. Did you know that there is a Page (blog) dedicated to Mindfulness right here on Connect? Check it out here:

– Health and Mindfulness https://connect.mayoclinic.org/page/mindfulness-in-health/

On this page, you'll find several articles in the newsfeed guiding mindfulness practices. In the tabs, you'll find additional resources including videos. I think @hopeful33250 will enjoy sharing her experiences with mindfulness here too.

Ladybug do you practice mindfulness? How has it helped you?

Hello @ladybugmg

Yes, mindfulness is very helpful! Please share with us, as you are comfortable doing so, how you practice mindfulness and what you have gained from the practice. Any particular methods that have been most helpful? How many times a day do you practice mindfulness?

I have practiced mindfulness for decades having learned about it when in my 30's. Right now I am focusing on using the body as a focus point starting with my feet. The only situation I have encountered was that after about 10 minutes I fall into a deep, restful sleep and wake up energized.

I am presently learning how to focus on the body and that seems to be working out well but I still have a lot to learn about it. I start with my feet and so far have only been able to get to my knees without falling into a deep, restful sleep. I am doing it a couple of times a day but the results seem to last for a long time.
