Antidepressants and inflammation

🙋‍♀️ Hi, I have and autoinmune condition and use biologic. I am trying to find options for mental fatigue and depression when cytokines are up. I always find relieve for my mind when the biologic is injected. Would like to use medication maybe an antidepressant (in my case SSRIs don’t work) for depression related to PCR changes and systemic inflammation (changes in cytokines). Hope to find similar cases here. Thanks

As someone with psoriatic arthritis also on biologics, I've managed to finally get off the Cymbalta (it took 2 years to wean off 60mg) and Seroquel (it's taken be 2 years to wean down from 600mg to 50mg and trying to get off it altogether. I prefer my head to be able to think and the anti-depressant and the seroquel turned me into a zombie and affected my memory. Many of the antidepressants just numb your emotions, rather the fixing any chemical imbalance from my experience and they are so hard to come off.
