Alternative treatments

Posted by siliai @siliai, Apr 4, 2019

I was wondering if anyone has done alternative treatments for Bronchiectasis. I am dealing with pseudomonas and have read Stephen Buhner’s herbal antibiotics book. Has anyone tried the protocols he recommends for treating lung infections?

Is there any benefit from Infrared saunas? Since the process heats up organs from the inside, without steam or moisture, could this technology help bronchiectasis?

@deestrada Have you been drinking warm water to help clear the mucus. I, myself, see it helping a great deal with the bringing up the mucus.
Don't know about 'Infrared' saunas....but so much of what they try to get us to use for them to make money is not good for us. I would imagine you are researching pros and cons...benefits and harms of something like that for us, in general, and not just because of the BE.

If you are under the care of doctors for your Bronchiectasis and/or MAC, please be sure they and your pharmacist know everything you are trying. Not every supplement is safe for every person. And not every supplement is proven, pure or appropriate depending on ALL of your health issues.

@i believe saunas are great - they help remove toxins. Dr rea at the environmental health ctr in tx. had all of his patients do them, and they are not something new - they've been around quite awhile. blm1007blm1007

@blm1007blm1007 ?I have no idea what all the patients had, or if any were BE. but if they had any lung problems, they were definitely on the list. when I'm speaking of his treatments, I'm speaking of the majority of his patients. he had patients from all over the world with every condition there is; alot of chem.sensitivity, which comes with a lot of diseases. the majority of saunas when I was there were regular, not infrared. he approved of the infrared only if you weren't EMF sensitive.
