alkaline phosphatase high reading

Recent CBC test showed abnornally high reading. Rochester.edu website says associated symptoms are:
Symptoms of High Alkaline Phosphatase
Itching.
Nausea and vomiting.
Weight loss.
Fatigue.
Weakness
All of which we are experiencing except weight loss, which has stopped.
Anyone have any experience or suggestions in this area?

I do know that extra pounds can cause a high alkaline phosphatase level and a fatty liver. I'm working on dropping a few pounds and when I do my alkaline phosphatase levels come down. Other factors can cause it as well. Hugs & Prayers....

High Alk Phos can also be associated with bone loss. You might want to ask your GP to do a bone specific Alk Phos test. That will at least show whether or not it's related to bone loss.
