Side effects after BCG treatments

Completed 4th set of 3 BCG treatments first 11 treatments were trouble free. It has been 10 weeks since last(12th) BCG treatment
and now when laying down have severe urgency to urinate 12 to 15 times in an 8 hour period and there is just slight discomfort toward end of urination. Anyone with similar experience and suggestions for resolution.

Sounds about right for a lot of us. You might ask your doc about Pyridium/Phenazopyridine (helps some with pain and a little with urgency) or Oxybutynin (better for urgency but may have some side effects). Phenazopyridine is available OTC at lower dosage than the prescription form.

I had treatment #6 nine days ago. No pain, no problems, urination is normal duration. Sometimes sleep thru the night, sometimes awaken once. Day about every 3-3 hrs depending on fluid intake. After my 4th treatment I began having joint and muscle pain or discomfort. Not as noticeable during daytme but really can be uncomfortable after I go to bed. I was informed that this might last a week. I exercise and walk daily. I have experience tiredness and fatigue. No other issues. At 89 yrs. maybe this is normal.

I've finished my 3rd round of BCG treatments and yes, my urine has a strange smell also although mine is not dark and cloudy - to the contrary very light colored. Wondering why right along with you @annyy .
