Afibs cannot be put into NSR
After 2 ablations, Cardioversion,, 6 weeks on Amiodarone — no rhythm control, EP says next discussion will be Rate Control or Pacemaker for my husband 77. He must not return to overwhelming fatigue and no appetite.
Thoughts? Advice?

Thank you gloaming - all thoughts to consider - and yes, treasure the time given by the ablation. Living here in Canada and being on a waiting list for ablations, etc. I doubt I will go for another ablation if the AFib returns. I was told I would be put on another beta blocker if the need arises. Turning 80 next March I don’t know what the future has in store for me - but as you say- enjoy the time away from AFib. One day at a time. 🙋🏼
