Advice on how to manage MS hug pain?

My daughter is still in the the early phase of testing to identify what’s happening to her. Today she experienced what I think was an “MS hug” she rated as a 10 out of 10 which encircled her torso in the lower chest/rib area & also involved her neck & shoulders. She’s had these before but never this bad. As she still hasn’t had her first Rheumatology appointment, she called her PCP who phoned in a script for Celebrex & OxyContin. I’ve read that Baclofen is the best for MS hug pain. Any advice on how to ease her pain either with meds or non medical means? Thank you.
