Anyone have experience with acyclovir antiviral for long covid?

Yes, Valacyclovir has worked for me. This January I had the most horrible crash. I was given Valacyclovir, starting with 500 mg 3 time a day and, as weeks passed increased to 2, 2.5 and 3 g a day. The highest improvement happened at 3 g a day. I have been taking this dose up to now. My doctor requests blood work every 2 months to make sure my liver and kidneys are tolerating this drug. So far they have been fine. I still have Long Covid symptoms, but nothing like before. I also have to be careful because the post exertional malaise has not disappeared.
