Abraxane gemzar at age 82
After 2 years of clear scans my pancreatic cancer has metastasized to my stomach and duodenum. Incurable. Dr says he can put me on abraxane gemzar but I am concerned about the side effects since I am already in a great deal of discomfort. Otherwise I have maybe 6 months to live. Considering hospice instead of chemo

Oh I am so sorry to hear this . My husband advanced to this same position after a year of treatment -everything they offered but it was not meant to be . They offered more after the metastases but thinking thru the offer he decided no . He was 79 . It’s a tough decision , not made lightly but ultimately it is your decision. Gather those you love for a big hug and listen and hopefully they listen to you .
