About brinsupri raising blood pressure. Has anyone received help to
Brinsupri has anyone received help with elevated blood pressure? I just finished 2 months and my mucus and cough are pretty much gone. I don't want to stop brinsupri but my blood pressure is like a roller coaster around the clock. Every few hours it goes up or down. I know some have stopped the medication but I'm hoping someone has found a solution. I'm 85 and quit thin but maybe someone can help.

When my blood pressure went up after I think 3 -4 months of 25 mg of brinsupri and when I reported it to my doctor at NJH and the pharmacist at the specialty pharmacy I was given four options
1. Wait and see how it goes ( it wasn’t dangerously high 130-140s)
2. Stop
3. Start 10 mg
4. Start a small dose of blood pressure med to control ( I did not take it earlier)
I waited and my BP stabilized after about a month. I hope thrips helps

2 Reactions@lilianna It does and it doesn't. My regular BP is 30s and low 40s. It is now jumping up to 180s but then down to 150s and 160s. I'm on 10 mg and have been through some of the other side effects. I need to talk to my pulmonologist.
