50 yr old 1900 Calcium Score

Posted by pkoutou @pkoutou, Apr 27 5:44am

Talk about a ticking time bomb !!! Lipoprotein A score 221 with Repatha Calcium score of 1900 yet my stress test score is a 12. What am I missing here ?

What does your doctor say? With a 1900 CAC score you surely have plaque. Is it all “stabilized” or is some of it soft and vulnerable? Stress test probably just means your plaque stenoses are non obstructive YET!
Repatha reduced my Lp(a) from 20 to 7.

I don’t believe you can do anything about calcium levels …

You can get this down.

Nope - have never seen anything to indicate it is possible to lower one's calcium score.
