CBD oil for pain

Posted by timfitz @timfitz, Jul 19, 2016

After trying opiates, and lyrica, and mostly just suffering I tried sublingual CBD which is from the marijuana plant, but has no THC in it, you don't get high. It was very very effective. Not only did it reduce my pain at least 75%, it has a calming effect on the anxiety produced in those of us with chronic pain by the fact we have it. I do recommend it.... Be sure it is from a reliable source. You don't need to smoke anything or get high.

I'm also in the Minnesota Medical Cannabis program, for pain from fibromyalgia. I had high hopes of getting relief, but am very disappointed in the program for many reasons, one being their limited variety of products. I received survey from them and stated my complaints. Did you get the tincture from RISE, as I was told they don't offer one?

RISE has a product:
LEAFLine Cobalt: 60 ML bottle, 1200 mg CBD and 60 mg THC

Green Goods has a product:
VIREO Indigo: 25 ML bottle, 1187.5 mg CBD and 62.5 mg THC

The Vireo product worked better for me.

@tomhayws54 you might try increasing your CBD oil. After over a year of experimenting I found that higher CBD and lower THC was my sweet spot. I take 100mg CBD and 20mg THC 4x day and I am good. This company is having a 40% off sale that I buy from. https://greenunicornfarms.com/cbd-hemp-flower/full-spectrum-oil/

I can't use "typical" THC products. However, there's a sublingual CBD with THC oil that is completely non-reactive. Got it at a dispensary. Also hate the taste so I put it in empty capsules-you can get it at a drugstore.

Why is it that THC can cause a bad reaction. It does with me.

Me too. Even a little bit. Not unusual I was told

I am thinking of CBD ... (not with THC) for my migraines, arthritis, herniated disc pain and what looks to be chronic ear pressure. Plus I suffer from severe anxiety (PTSD) which will always be with me.
Any advice on the best and most effective product anyone used? And in what form?...gummies, oil, etc.?
There are so many on the market it is overwhelming for me to chose what would be most effective.
Thank you kindly.

Hello! I have tried several brands, and this is the only one I have found that has helped. I take half a dropper full 3x/day. It has relieved pain, redness and swelling in my hands and feet from rheumatoid and erosive arthritis. They offer a free bottle, plus shipping.

Hi, This gives me some hope as my pain specialist has now prescribed CBD oil (no THC). The pharmacy has now ordered it in so I should be starting it soon.

How much CBD will you start with? Can you share the brand and strength? Thank you.

I have had some luck using CBD lotion and topical CBD oil for back pain. Doesn't wipe it out, but it does knock it down a few notches so I can function better. I also sometimes use Biofreeze or lidocaine or Maty's natural chest rub. Your results might vary. Good luck!
