Aortic aneurysm cause for concern

Recently diagnosed with 4.2 aortic aneurysm, dilated right ventricle, heart regurgitation. Cardiologist indicated I I see her in 4 months. I was prescribed a statin and metoprolol. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Should I be concerned? Seriously considering being proactive and having a consult with a thoracic surgeon.

I have had a 4.5 ascending aortic aneurysm for about 10 years I’m 64 now . I haven’t ever been told it had any valve or bleeding problems. It hasent changed since original diagnosis. It was found when I was in hospital with a hydra seal in about 2014. I did have a emblization iliac artery and 2 stents placed in right lower abdomen . Is this a surgery that would be done by catheter?

What I read like on mine on a (ascending aortic aneurysm) , it would done with open heart surgery and graft sewn in . I think Tevar is a way off on research to do them . but you would need to ask a expert .
