iron deficiency anemia destroys marriage

I had iron deficiency anemia i was unaware of. I was unknowingly battling its symptoms of anxiety and depression severely. They gave me sleep deprivation as i was up with negative thoughts from the anxiety. My wife thought i was acting wrongly, but i believed there was nothing wrong with me. I only thought i had digestive issues, because i had them my whole life and only thought they had gotten worse. I was acting very worried and irritable to my wife. She left me, taking our daughter. We were together almost 20 years and had a wonderful loving family until this happened. I went to the doctor after my wife left and that is when i was diagnosed with the iron deficiency anemia. it was curable over a few months and its horrible symptoms went away. I was confident once my wife found out that i was acting differently due to a curable illness, she would reconcile our family. Instead she said i was using it as an excuse for my behavior and has never spoken to me again. My wife was my whole life and i am devastated. Does anyone have any advice how i can make her understand what happened and save my family? Thank you.
