Hello, recently had spine surgery 4 months ago , my pain is a lot and I’m scared I will always be in pain......
I advise you to get an MRI with contrast of your pelvic area to see if you have the condition that lot of us have that nobody wants to talk about. Only that MRI with contrast will show everything that you need to know.
If you're nerve canals are collapsing pushing on your vertebrae which is pinching your nerves a chiropractor will not fix that type of situation. Only if it's an alignment situation can a chiropractor help but if it's collapsed the nerve canals you got to get it tested with an MRI with contrast. If you're asking for help this is what I personally would advise but I'm not a doctor as I'm only a patient that has gone through what you're going through.
I can always say that an MRI with contrast of your lower part of your pelvic area and see if you have a condition called arachnoiditis which doctors don't want to show it or give it that advice cuz that's what surgery causes in most cases. You need to get tested for that and that's what I recently found out after the surgeons would give me that test and I insisted on it and sure enough it showed up. I hope you don't have it but at least get tested
@peach414144 Glad to hear this as a good chiropractor will help . Hope you get as good as before . When I fractured my back at work I thought it just slipped out and drove to see my chiropractor he said you have a fracture so he sent my into the hospital E.R. for xray my other Dr. took over then . So if there is a problem he cant fix he will be honest with you . Let me know how your feeling then . Make sure you tell him as you did here .
Yes, thank you peach
@rwinney Hi Rachel, I am curious about the pain book you referenced. What is the title & author? I appreciate it! .......Karen
Hello Karen
It's a book on Small Fiber Neuropathy. Is that your diagnosis?
Rachel
Hi I am Ginger. I have autoimmune issues and also chronic pain. I also have arthritis issues. I also have small fiber nueropathy, renaulds. How does everyone deal with pain and fatigue?
I am surprised by the comment on heart issues from injections. Planning on getting them this winter at Mayo in the neck, also ablation.
