Yes, I have, I was diagnosed with it in October. Does anyone have any suggestions about clothing that can help with the allodynia and not make it so painful?
No, but the discussions of it sounded like my meralgia parasthetica, which seems to be similar. The good news for me is that it is one of my problems that will actually recede or even go away completely.

Really. What is meralgia pasarthetica? I wore compression shorts that were an off brand to spanx and they were so soft that it really made a difference with my waist and hips and the pain level decrease. It was so much more tolerable today.
Have any of you guys also had issues with feeling like you're sweating too much and don't know if you actually are or aren't? So you can never be sure .

No. It seems to sit right on top of my thigh. No discomfort until clothes or a sheet, anything lightly touches it. If I press firmly, not so much. I should say, it's almost gone. The same things set it off, but it's hardly noticeable anymore. And I might also mention that the diagnosis came when I was visiting a surgeon about an unrelated matter which I thought was a related matter. He said they were not connected and what I had was mauralgia parasitica. So if that diagnosis is correct, so be it. At least it is something that I won't have to deal with for the rest of my life.

See I was visiting a dermatologist for my skin pain and they thought I had allodynia. So whenever I wear underwear with the elastic on my bottom it's very painful and feels like it's squeezing my inner thy while other kinds aren't as bad. And when I wear pants with elastic it really bothers my waist. Does that sound like mauralgia parasitica or is that more allodynia do you believe?

Thanks but did you ever have issues with clothing that had elastic that would cause pain around your thighs or on your waist at all. What were your symptomns of the meralgia p?
I find wearing fleece lined shoes, like Ugg, helps.

That was actually my first symptom. I thought I was having an allergy to my shoes. Even bought corn starch powder.
Does your meralgia parasthetica cause you to feel like your sweating too easily even if you're not or not knowing if your sweating?

Sorry, but I never heard of allowing before seeing it mentioned here the other day. Can't comment on the meralgia p. Only know how I'm affected.
