When I drink Pepsi sometimes I feel nauseous is it because I have IBS-C or because I am taking escitalopram ?

Pepsi is all chemicals. No wonder you are nausaus. If you have to drink soda, drink ginger ale.

If you know a psychiatrist to solve my problem in this link then you'd do good to me https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/are-these-dreams-good-signs-or-bad-signs/

Hi

When you get your next blood test, please verify your creatinine level.
That will indicate whether you are meeting the acceptable standards.
I had a liver transplant about five years ago.
Give up drinking soda of any kind and stick to drinking carbonated water and spring water.
My stats appear to have significantly improved.
There can be some issues at first when comparing Pepsi to water, but you'll grow used to it.
Best of Luck

The problem is Pepsi help me don't feel sleepy in the morning, that's the reason I drink it, maybe caffeine and sugar in it that stop my sleepiness because I am already taking escitalopram which one of its side effects is sleepiness.

It’s poison to the body! There are dozens of teas and even coffee. No soda!

Anything with sugar makes me feel worse. I've started drinking ensure first thing in the morning. Seems to be helping.

That is a very processed, unhealthy drink. Please find an alternative, skipping the processed sugar.

Learn to love great coffee and/or teas - black. Plenty of caffeine without the sodium and sugar/sugar subs. Sweeteners have their own problems.

Sodas in general are toxic. If sugars in general are making you sick, then diabetes is possible. If your getting nauseated with any other types of foods there could be other issues going on. You may need a CT scan of your abdomen along with labs to rule out MALs or an issue with your pancreas. Write down all your symptoms so you can let your health care provider know exactly what's going on.

I have nausea if I drink red wine and my daughter does also.

stop drinking red wine, I can't remember why, but I read somewhere white wine is the best, and I love Chardonnay, but I drank so much, and it seemed to actually help my GI, relax and work, till I drank too much and had to quit....your solution is simple, quit red and go to white wine ONLY!

I don’t want to come off as being cruel but please stop drinking Pepsi. Sodas are one of the worst things to consume if you have gut issues of any kind. Nothing in them is good for you.

I'm 69 and fortunately was a coke drinker until three months ago. I don't know why I never looked, but most non-diet soda contains 7 or more teaspoons of sugar per 12 oz. This leads to fat, especially visceral fat, the stuff in your torso that surrounds major organs.

Soda, diet or not, is at least as dangerous to health as cigarettes, IMO. So the answer to the poster's question is to stop drinking Pepsi or any other soda.

My PCP went so far as to say soda should be banned, or warning labels placed to spare the public the diseases and ailments these products cause.

Oh and I went from 188 lbs to 175 lbs in two months. I do exercise, especially cardio, but simply cutting out soda and avoiding other refined sugar and syrup accounted for most of the weight loss, and it was all fat, especially visceral fat. And I feel better. Go figure.......
