Prayer Request

Posted by melissa0919 @melissa0919, Dec 3, 2023

Two + months out I’m in rejection and I have been for a few weeks now. I went to Pittsburgh Thursday and they done an MRCP, CT and a liver biopsy. The MRCP and CT looked good all but some fluid around the liver. Had to go back Friday to get the results from the liver biopsy and it confirmed I was in rejection🥲They have given me a mega dose of steriods and changed my anti-rejection medication. I go back tomorrow and if my liver enzymes haven’t went down then it will be a hospital stay and I am so sick of hospitals😞. I know GOD and Prayers have got me through all this and I know for the past 6 years I have asked ALOT for prayers but here I am again asking for your prayers. God Bless and Much Love🙏❤️

Bless you I do hope this sorts for you..I think all us transplanted patients fear organ rejection, I feel so sorry you are going through this to go through the op is enough without the additions. I sometimes feel as if I am existing not living.

I didn’t end up in the hospital 😀. My levels are still high, but they are trending down. They done an ultrasound and my blood vessels and ducts is flowing good and they said the liver was unremarkable 😀. My new anti-rejection medication is not showing up in my blood work so they increased the dosage and I have to go back Thursday for more bloodwork. I want to thank everyone who said a prayer for me today, God answered!! God Bless & Much Love to All!!🙏❤️

Sending prayers for comfort and peace. I know how tiring hospitals can be. I've been in rejection once and those steroids plus infusions can be a bit overwhelming, especially around the holidays.

You are right, God will carry you through. I am 3 years post transplant. What kind of symptoms do you have regarding rejection? Do you have Dr. Humar?
