@no it doesn't
Are you talking about an implanted pump to deliver pain meds? If so, it's the cat's meow and your daddies fine tooth comb. Get one, I did.
You might be suffering from low electrolytes in your body , that will cause cramps in your legs
NO, this is a machine that has wires that are put into your spine , the surgeon puts the wires where it will help with the pain that you are experiencing. It has 15 different settings, and each one has an intenive level.It turly has been a God-end to me. If I mis-spell anything it is because I csan hardly see due to cataracts. I am having surgery on July23 YEAH I am so looking forward to it.
@jjwest this sounds similar to a tens unit but the wires are inserted ,do you wear on the outside a power box or something like this
@jjwest
I am so glad to hear of your pain control with the implant, that must be great. I wish you well with your upcoming cataract surgery as well.

Hi, I'm Melissa, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia a couple of years ago and just went through the two day fibro program at Mayo. I also have bipolar disorder so am joining the mental health group as well, but I find that there is a lot of overlap between the behavioral aspects of treatment for the two illnesses - mindfulness, relaxation, stress management, exercise, diet, social support, moderation (yikes - that's not a strength area!)
Hi Melissa, I applaud you for finding the resources to help you manage your medical issues. I also have Fibro; I did not know that Mayo had a program for that. I've been to Mayo for other health issues (in Rochester, MN). Can you share with me what the 2 day Fibro was like. Sounds like it's helping you! Thank you very much.
Susan
Hi, Melissa, welcome! I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 1990. I feel like my issues began long before that date, however. I have also had severe depression all my life. Both are fine now. Medication, mindfulness, supplements, activity and much more help so much. Until next time,
Mamacita
