How about a laugh, (hopefully)

Posted by Jake @jakedduck1, Dec 31, 2018

I believe laughter is the best medicine. Laughter has actually been scientifically proven to help people with depression issues.
Let’s give it a try so we can all get happy and feel better. Many Epilepsy forums I’ve been on had joke sections. I was probably the biggest joke of all since I didn’t get a lot of the jokes. They said the jokes couldn’t be above 4th grade level for me to understand them so my jokes may be rather simplistic but let’s give it a try.
Have a lovely day everyone,
Jake

Sad News From Minnesota

The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and trauma complications from repeated pokes to the belly. Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin with the grave site piled high with many flours.

Numerous celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, Betty Crocker, the California Raisins, the Hostess Twinkies, and Captain Crunch.

Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and lovingly described Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded.

Born in 1965 and bread in Minnesota, Poppin’ Fresh rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was never considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half baked schemes.

A little flaky, he was known as crusty man, but still considered a positive “roll” model to millions.

Doughboy is survived by his wife Play Dough; three children – John Dough, Jane Dough, and Dosey Dough…plus, they had a bun in the oven. He is also survived by his elderly uncle, Pop-Tart. The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 15 minutes.

If you enjoyed reading this, rise to the occasion and share it with a friend who’s having a crumb-y day and kneading a lift.

I'm new as of today so please forgive me if I don't get it right, but this is for the joke lady.
What did the number zero say to the number 8?

Nice belt!

Epic!! ...I have a math joke or 2, but I'm a "numbers girl" not necessary a "math girl." It's a joke about an "irrational" number getting "real." 🤣
I think we may understand each other, Sisyphus.

Since math phobia seems quite common, isn't Math perplexed given that it openly claims about having so many irrational numbers?
Maybe a comedian might do a good performance.

Pumpkin pie or pi...what's the difference?

Pie YOU can eat
pi will eat Your Brains out and you still won't know it's EXACT value!

Dear phus,

People who refuse to wear gloves when it's freezing out are irrational numbers.

As a former educator in NYC for over 40 years, it saddens me to hear about Math Phobia! I loved teaching it to my fifth graders and was successful in getting them in not only liking math, but also valuing its purpose in their lives! The key is to understand why something is being done. Slow. Steady. Lots of mainpulates. Sometimes even a song and dance! Anything to frighten the Math Phobia away and open up my students' knowledge and learning abilities.

On waking up as I looked outside the window it was overcast and breeze was refreshingly cool-lite; a few push-ups and Pilates after as I opened the laptop to see my email, my belly started to laughtercise. What more do I want from life?
