EXtracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy?

Has anyone tried Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy? If so for what conditions? My physiologist just gave me a brochure. I suffer from fibro, myofacial pain. I get epidural injections and trigger point in SI joint as well.

I haven’t tried it yet but my hip dr has recommended it for a full thickness tear in my gluteus medial tendon after years of steroids. But I read that it shouldn’t be done on side of hip transplant so I have to look into that. I have SI joint problems too and just underwent a SI nerve ablation. I also have Meralgia Parasthetica, which is so painful I can hardly cope. I don’t know where to go for help with that. Hope it works out for you.
