I am experiencing profuse sweating off during the day and nightly. Is this common post Covid?

I feel like menopause was easier for me than this. I have a new variant, I am 66. My boyfriend is 69, got Covid from me. We were so sick, but it seems to never end. I still have low grade fevers, very frequently. I don’t know how often exactly, I just try to ignore it. I am so tired of being sick. I want to move on, but the fatigue is devastating. The fevers are just enough to alert me, because the fatigue accompanies it. I am embarrassed that I am so tired. Ugh!
I TOO HAVE HORRIBLE SWEATING SINCE I CAUGHT COVID TWICE LAST YEAR. DOCTOR CHECKED FOR THYROID , NOTHING ALL IS NORMAL. NO EXPLANATION BUT FOR ME, IT DEFINITELY HAPPENED AFTER THE COVID. I ALSO HAVE SHORTNESS OF BREATH, ASTHMA GOT WORSE, BUT IT SEEMS 9 MONTHS LATER THAT HAS GOTTEN BETTER.
Just want to confirm it’s 15 mg ER? That’s certainly on the higher dosage limits of this medication for hyperhidrosis.
I have caught Covid three times now. Once in 2020, 2021 and 2022. It took me about 11 months each time to be completely healed from most of the side effects.
I agree with you on that one. Menopause was much easier. However, everytime I go to my doctor she tells me that my symptoms are not menopause related. But I don't know. Because I am sick for about 11 months after having covid. I have caught covid three times now. Once in 2020, 2021, and 2022. I pray everyday that I do not get it again. I am so tired and worn out...
I am 60 years old. I am in post menopause and I do have symptoms from that, and on top of it now I have all these others symptoms from long covid: which include: Vestibular Migraines, Vertigo, Dizzy spells, Light Headed, Headaches, Fatigue, Sweating after eating meals, lost my taste and smell but that has recovered. All the other symptoms are still there but now as much. They come and go.
Yes, it's a prescription
Yes, he's currently taking Oxybutynin ER 15 mg once daily after trying 5 mg and 10 mg without much impact. Since 15 mg has been working for months, he's tried to go back down to 10 mg, but some of the sweating came back.
Thanks! Glad to hear it working. Any side effects and when does he take it morning/ evening/ multiple throughout the day.
He experiences the following side effects from the medication: lack of sweating, dry mouth and slower urination (takes longer to start urinating). He only started taking the medication since one of the known side effects is reduced sweating. He feels the other side effects are worth it given how debilitating and embarrassing the sweating had become.
He takes the full dose in the morning.
FYI, I have had the Covid hot flashes without any Covid medication.
