1 ReactionI love garlic but it’s not always easy to eat it every day. I started taking Allimax a few years ago; it contains allicin which I believe is the antibacterial compound in garlic. I’m honestly not sure if it has helped but it hasn’t hurt so I continue to take it, increasing the dose of I’m feeling unwell.
There may be some precautions if you’re taking blood thinners.
I love it too...I'm going to have it every day since I can't tolerate the antibiotics. Who knows, maybe there is a positive aspect to it for Mac!

2 ReactionsHi @healthybon, I moved your discussion to an existing discussion on Anti-Mycobacterial Activity of Garlic, https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/anti-mycobacterial-activity-of-garlic/, so that you could meet other members who have explored garlic and its properties.
thanks Justin
I tried. Nosebleeds followed. Stopped garlic. Nosebleeds stopped. Fyi I'm not on blood thinners.
good thing you stopped. just shows ya, how different people react to different substances......God Bless!
I also experience nose bleeds when I take certain blood thinning remedies or vitamins. For that reason I probably could not use the garlic either. Wish I could!

1 ReactionI was glad to see this because I am taking whatever supplements I can rather than 3 antibiotics. I have already ordered Allimax Allisen after reading this yesterday. Thanks everyone for continual information.
