Has anyone looked into a class action law suit regarding Benzodiazepines?

I took it to sleep. The first time is was magical - great sleep, but the next two times I tried a lower potency and did not sleep. I think I now know the right amount I need to take. However, I have started on Remeron, just last night and I don't want to do both. I think it has potential.

They nEvEr even advised me of the long term effects from taking this medication.. I have a lot of issues that I shouldn't have at 48 like the beginning stages of dementia and I know it has a lot to do with good ol Klonopin

My doctor that is helping wean off clonazepam b/c she said it can cause dementia in older individuals. So yes, it might have something to do with how you're feeling. My doctor at the time was basically a pill pusher that only gave you enough meds for 30 days so that you were so tied to him. I had been seeing him for about 10 years. The last time I saw him in February 2023 he did not call in my script for clonazepam, I called him personally and he told me to call the office, I call the office and they say they will call it in no worries. That went on for 7 days. Even my employer at the time called his office, emailed and faxed during those 7 days. NOTHING, NO RESPONSE. I ended up in the ER because that's the only place I was able to get my meds. Worst feeling in my life. I wish it only on animal abusers. Now, I have a new doctor that is helping wean off. I'm at .25 at this time, it's not working well for sleep which is why I took it to begin with. I started taking 2 THC gummies 160mg hour before bed and I have been sleeping. Also bought a sound machine so I can listen to the rain while trying to fall asleep. hoping to be completely off by 2024 if not earlier.

I have not quit benzos only Klonopin. I take Alprazolam. I also take 200 mg of Zoloft my dosage alprazolam is .5 mg three times a day since I was 15 yrs old. I will be 50 often find myself wondering what would’ve been had someone let my brain be mine.

Years on it for and PVC and PVC since heart meds did not agree. Now after total knee replacement and even before, tachycardia. On dilitizem 24 he released. Still think alprazalom works better.

Zoloft was poison to me! Was on it 30 days went cold Turkey. Doc had to over ride extra alprazalom. Neighbor on it, not like herself! Been 3 years for her. Gained about 50 lbs. always stressed out. I read Zoloft is only short term. Be careful. Up the alprazalom for your health.

If it works well for you Zoloft can be taken indefinitely. Alprazolam is the drug you should only use short term.

That’s true! But what works, works. Everyone is different.

I’m hoping you’re aware your Xanax will stop working sooner or later. It happened to me 4 years ago as it happens to all benzo users. My physchiatrist of 25 years AND my GP failed to mention this very very critical fact.
