Lung cancer, high blood calcium and bone mets
Hi,
Recently diagnosed with stage 1b lung cancer. Had upper right lobe removed in April 2023. Recent follow up showed high blood calcium which may indicate bone metastasis. Any experience with this? Thanks!!!!

This is to the National Health Institute:

Your link goes to a body mass index calculator. Was that your intent?
No please see post right after. I caught that mistake and sent you the correct one. When you reach the site just search Vitamin K2.🤗
In 2010 the Mayo Clinic published a study that found those with the highest levels of vitamin K has a 45% less likelihood of developing Non Hodgkin lymphoma. Kool!
My calcium was high 15 years ago at 10.8. I have always taken vitamin D because I need to stay out of sun. I saw an endocrinologist and she did additional testing that showed I had hyperparathyroidism caused by a tumor on my parathyroid gland. The benign tumor was removed and all my labs normalized.
