Lung cancer, high blood calcium and bone mets

Posted by whahoo @whahoo, Aug 22, 2023

Hi,

Recently diagnosed with stage 1b lung cancer. Had upper right lobe removed in April 2023. Recent follow up showed high blood calcium which may indicate bone metastasis. Any experience with this? Thanks!!!!

Actually, just like other supplements, doctors don’t agree on everything. Some don’t believe in taking vitamins or supplements at all, because you should get everything you need from you diet. BUT… how many of us truly are able to do that? Vitamin K2 has been researched and studied and had clinical trials completed. It has many benefits. It’s not just good for getting the calcium back into your bones; at the same time it is good for your arteries and veins. Check out https://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/educational/lose_wt/BMI/bmicalc.htm This is the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute website. It has many resources and researched studies on practically anything and everything you could want to look up. Very detailed, BUT IT IS NOT FOR SELF DIAGNOSIS! Just self knowledge to give yourself so you can talk more on your doctors level and it helps give you understanding of terms and such that they may use. Hope this helps. It’s your decision, as everything concerning you is, but just some outside ideas.

No please see post right after. I caught that mistake and sent you the correct one. When you reach the site just search Vitamin K2.🤗
