According to the Mayo site about rivaroxaban side effects, rivaroxaban can cause both back pain and leg weakness. I do not know which doctor is sending you for the MRI. which may be a precautionary measure to rule out anything else.
But, your cardiologist should be told of the side effects from it which are on the high side for you and are effecting you greatly.
Thank u. My gp surgey are aware niw cos I made them aware. I’ve been fighting tooth an bail to get this mri. I ve told them they have neglected me as I’ve been complaining with my back for months. 🤬
The rivaroxaban Dr. should prescribe another med for you. This can't be the only one which will offer you protection. We have to be our own advocates......Call and ask today.

I’ve already talked about changing Anastrozole so I’d bloody hate to confuse the gp surgery, asking to change my blood thinner!! I think there is really no point in doing any changes at the mo until I see what the results of the mri are. I would only b changing one med for another and I’d b even more confused and concerned than I am now. Fingers crossed, all will b ok and if my nightmare worry doesn’t come try’s, as in secondary cancer in my spine, I’ll b happy enough to change every med I’m on if it relieves my back pain x
Will say some prayers for you....You will get through this ok.
There is no confusion to a gp surgery about changing meds. It is part of their job to make people functional.
The anastrosol dr and gp surgery dr. need to work together and be aware of health issues.
You can easily switch to another AI as many have done.
GP surgery needs to address if the other med is causing problems. So often, they have so much on their table, that they do not consider side effects, ask about them, look them up even, or make med changes unless pressed by patients.....

Hoping the MRI will answer your questions and a remedy is suggested that alleviates your chronic pain. Some women report very difficult intense pain on AI but not too many and not after 18 mos. But all possibilities should be addressed. Hoping for relief and the best outcome for you 🌸

Thanks but I think rivaroxaban should b brought into the equation. I’m hoping, cos I got a clear mammogram on 23 May, that my biggest fear, secondary cancer, won’t b the case here. 👍👍

Getting a face to face appointment with GP here in Uk is a nightmare! I’m getting fed up of being triaged in phone by sone woman/man who think they are doctors!! My best way, I’ve now found, is to go on the surgery site that patients and only patrician access. In that sure I can write exactly how I feel, how my back pain is etc and I have been honest with them that they have neglected me!! Which they have! It’s amazing how quickly they replied to me and this additive got me my MRI next Thursday. I’m sick and tired and exhausted fighting my own corner. God help anyone who doesn’t have ‘I’m ike a dog with a bone’ attitude cis they will b forgotten about! I’m prepared to wait niw till after results of MRI to do more ‘discussing’ 🤣re my meds. I really need to find out that there is nothing sinister wrong with my back! If there is, he’ll will break loose! Have a great weekend, everyone. Lovr from sunny Scarborough. Yorkshire. England x

Loratadine (generic Claritin) has helped discomfort at night. I still have terrible stiffness in hips, knees and ankles during day but that improves with walking. Tart cherry juice did not help (but I grew to enjoy it added to diet soda lol)

Thank you and I will take a note if that med, but I don’t have a prob with my back, and my back is what I’m concentrating on, when I’m sitting down it in bed at night. My problem is I can’t walk fir long distance, can’t stand for more than a couple mins. ❤️

We all have the assertive gene in that we all know that is the only way to get results, no matter where you are.
You have that and determination and have made a lot of progress with the medical system.

Wishing you smooth sailing and good news for the future.
