Polymyalgia Rheumatica (PMR), prednisone and Coronavirus COVID-19

I was wondering if we were more susceptible to getting sick than others since PMR is an autoimmune disease?

I got Covid with PMR pre pred and my pain and stiffness went away when it was at its very worst. It was a very strange puzzling experience. I have seen posts saying the same.
