Hi, if you haven't seen it you may find this article on Rigicon interesting: "Initial safety outcomes for the Rigicon Infla10 inflatable penile prosthesis," Wilson et al., January 2023, https://doi.org/10.1111/bju.15960 . From the abstract, the authors analyzed data from patient information forms submitted to the manufacturer of a three-piece inflatable penile prosthesis, the Rigicon Infla10. They summarized early outcomes retrospectively from 319 patients implanted with the prosthesis between January 2019 and December 2021 to assess device durability and rates of reoperation for infection, mechanical failure or medical reasons. Early results demonstrated initial durability from reoperation equivalent to that of other contemporary devices. You may find the full text of this article at a university medical library or can search for it online by the title or link ($12-$49).

Thank you looking for info on the Rigicon mallable implants not the inflatable but thank you for the information. Do you have any information on the Rigicon malleable rod implants?

There is a review article by the same author (Wilson et al.), “Is there still a place for malleable penile implants in the United States?” Int J Impot Res 35, 82–89 (2023). https://doi.org/10.1038/s41443-020-00376-6 that mentions the Rigicon Rigi10 as one of the semirigid rod implants available.

You probably already know about Franktalk.org, a non-profit patient support project of the Erectile Dysfunction Foundation, and saw this older discussion about Rigi10 on their chat board: https://www.franktalk.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=19164 . A search for Rigicon on the site yields 500+ posts.

thank you ... I wonder why there is such limited info on Rigicon. The only before and and after photos of the implant are those from India which I don't have much faith in as being honest.

thank you I'll do some deeper research .. many of the posts are from men having the surgery done in India

Sure. Understandable. Another suggestion: UpToDate has an article on “Surgical treatment of erectile dysfunction, including implantation of penile prostheses and penile vascular (arterial and venous) reconstruction,” at https://www.uptodate.com/contents/surgical-treatment-of-erectile-dysfunction . Check out the outline to see if it might have useful information. UpToDate is a point-of-care clinical resource with more than 10,000 topics and patient information and a patient/caregiver 7-day subscription is $20.

During research did you see the Wikipedia piece: (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penile_implant piece ) listing manufacturers? (Note that Wikipedia flagged it for possibly failing to comply with their neutral point of view policy.)

I subscribed for 7 days not that much on implants that I can see I'll explore it more maybe I need to probe deeper.
