I was referred to Urologist and after Ultrasound and Cystoscopy he found kidney ok
Is this blood in urine a serious matter ?

1 ReactionI’ve been on Xarelto for CVST - when I need a procedure I also discontinue 3 days before and have noticed that I get a very bad migraine. Has anyone experienced this?
I’m 79 yrs old and I’ve been on 15 mg Xarelto for about three months for my infrequent afib episodes and a PFO. I switched to it from Eliquis because the Eliquis was about $300/ mo. after insurances. The cardiologist said it was comparable. I’m finding I have more minor bleeds (white of the eye, top of toe bruising, thigh bruising, etc) than I had in two years of Eliquis, and a pharmacist confirmed that this is common with Xarelto. I have other random symptoms but am also on prednisone for GCA and have untreated Type II diabetes , exacerbated by the steroid, so I can’t tease out what’s causing what.
