Anybody had port installed into kidney to treat ureter/bladder cancer?

Yes. Doing this currently. Jelmyto chemo via port for six weeks. Then GemDoce Chemo bladder infusion and port drip into kidney. The port is now used monthly for 'maintenance' monthly chemo treatment. Iowa City University Hospital by Dr. Mike Odonnell.

@johnskevin, I hope you saw the post from @pcondon who also has a kidney port to receive chemo treatment for ureter cancer.

Johnskevin, have you been diagnosed with both bladder and ureter cancer? Did you get the port? When will you start treatment?

Yes I started out with bladder cancer about 6 or 7 years ago and did real well with BCG treatments I had a two years of those and then about I guess two or three months ago on they spotted more cancer in my bladder and also in my u t e r e r and I had three operations at that time to get rid of all the tumors in my bladder and then a couple operations to get rid of the cancer in my uter and then they install the port and my kidney and other giving me chemotherapy through that so it goes through my kidney and my uter and into the bladder and I've had two of those so far and I have to have a total of six so I have to have four more how about you have you also have bladder cancer and uter cancer also
