Hi-
I had difficulty getting nebulizer med and now it looks to be getting worse:

Any ideas or resources?

Get you doctor to prescribe levalbuterol or formotorol?

I’ll ask about those, thanks.
My local CVS was out of stock so I called around to some of the other pharmacies and my local Walgreens had some in stock so I just transferred my rx to Walgreens without any problems. You might want to check around. I think the albuterol inhaler is easier to use and works a little better than the nebulizer.
I feel so bad for people trying to find albuterol. I no longer use it and have a half a case just sitting around waiting to expire. I contacted CVS and said I would give it to someone in need and they said I couldn't do that. They are all in sealed vials - what a shame!!
Where do you live? I could pay you for shipping, if it is worth the money to do that.
I live in Fort Meyers FL and have 8 boxes of Albuterol that contain 30 x 3ml vials in each box with an expiration date of Dec 2023. I also have 2 boxes of Sodium Chloride that contain 60 x 4ml vials in each box with an expiration date of July 2024. If you want to pay the postage they are yours.
I dunno- seems like it would be close $100.
From packages I have sent at Christmas it could be close to that. I would expect at least $60.00.
I’m not able to do that right now, tho I really appreciate you reaching out!
@lauraadam2425, CVS is right. It is not recommended that patients share their unused medications. The safer method is to return the unused medication to a pharmacy.
For safety reasons, Mayo Clinic does not recommend that members exchange unused medications or supplements and the sharing of mailing addresses raises privacy concerns. While I know your offer originates from kindness, safety and privacy comes first. This is a good reminder for all members.
Thank you, Laura, for your kindness.
