Hi James! Happy Easter to you ! 🙂 You made me cry here. Tell me something about yourself. I still can't believe it.) We are going through a very difficult time right now. The fact that there is still someone like us in the world is like a light in the tunnel. My daughter is now an adult, but she still looks like a bigger kid. So it's like a lifetime on maternity leave.
Hello, I found your link by accident. We are from Czech Republic. My daughter has a deletion of the short arm of the chromosome3. Today she is 32 years old, she still looks like a bigger child. That's quite an advantage 🙂 I can't believe I found someone with the same disabled child. With love Zuzana
Hello again, Zuzana. I want to let you know that I have told the mother of the teen daughter with Chromosome 3 Deletion Syndrome -- they are my cousins -- about you and your daughter. She said she is eager to communicate with you. She must sign-up with Connect first, of course. When I spoke with her, on Easter Sunday, she said she was hoping to connect with Connect this week. I just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten about you, and that my cousin wants to connect with you. Best wishes --Jim
Thank you, Ingegerd. I confess that I am having a tricky time figuring out how Connect works. I didn't see your message until just now, when it popped up as if "out of the blue" on my screen. Judging from your one-line message, you must have sent at least one other message before this one -- but I don't see it on this page, so I'll go hunting for it. Meanwhile, I can't tell you how much I appreciate your kindness. I want to get the mother of the daughter with C3DS to join us here soon.

Hi again, Suzana. Thanks for your Easter greeting. I still don't know how to insert emojis, or even where to find them here, so no happy-face this time, either. Sorry I made you cry; that was the last thing I had in mind. If you were here or I were there, you could peel an onion under my eyes until they overflowed with tears. It wouldn't take much, or long. If I knew how to find emojis, I would insert a teary-eyed face right here. That -- I hope -- might make you laugh! My cousin, the mother, said the same thing you say: "I can't believe it! The doctor said there are only a few people in the world like us -- and now we found two of them!" I can't wait for you and my cousin to meet each other. "A lifetime on maternity leave" -- I like your description. --Jim

Oops! I meant Zuzana, not Suzana. Please forgive me. Sometimes my fingers stray where my brain doesn't intend them to stray, as if they have little minds of their own. Thanks again.
@mcconnector
It can time to figure out how Connect works.
If one wants to respond to a particular person just write @thename.
Often a post can be directed to more than one person in a thread without the @the name.
I usually check my regular groups daily for new posts, sometimes there can be days without activity.
I’m so pleased that Zuzana responded.

P.S. I meant to say "Thank you" for the picture of your daughter. She looks happy!
Thank you!
