Yes, I am experiencing the exact same thing.
I am experiencing the same symptoms and they didn't present until five months after Covid infection.
Mine presented a year after Covid. Have you heard about the post-Covid syndrome and the education that Mayo does? I have not participated in it, but am interested. They say that it is common to experience what we are long after Covid has passed.
Thank you so much for your response. I’m so sorry you are going through this too. For me, it is debilitating, trying to get help.
Have medical professionals done anything for you?
I don’t really know anything about the services Mayo may provide but I will try to find out. Best wishes to you too in your journey.
Medical professionals here don’t associate my experience with Covid, although I have asked. These days things are in such silos. I trust Mayo and hope they can help both of us.
I was diagnosed by my rheumatologist who told me to rest when I get tired because I was trying to work through my fatigue. I see a rheumatologist because I have had autoimmune diseases. I think maybe I am more succeptable to long covid because of that. Primary care has been no help so far. After the first Covid vaccine, I was in agonizing pain in all of the places that had been affected by Polymyalgia Rheumatica.
Does resting when you are fatigued HELP anyone’s fatigue??? I’ve had Long Covid manifest pretty much right after I got it March 2020. I’ve NEVER thot to ask!! Does resting help? Can ANYONE let me know?
I’m so sorry you are suffering. I have a friend w autoimmune disorder who also got terrible reaction to the vaccine, and more susceptible to long covid.
My primary care tried to help w tests, but no results. I think they give up if they don’t see the culprit in test results. That’s our challenge, we know how we feel but they don’t know what to do.
Thank you ALL for your responses and I’m so sorry that you and I are struggling. My nurse practitioner said that the infectious disease doctors are struggling to understand and detect all that this virus does to those who, for whatever reason, get long Covid symptoms. So terribly frustrating, and like other novel viruses we are chasing knowledge as they evolve!
