Hi Jerrilyn, Welcome. If I can be of any help please ask. I ended up with heart rhythm problems due to a bad flu case that caused an enlargement in my heart. So, for about 10 years went thru pacemaker treatments and
along with medications for arrythmias with Ventricular Tachycardia the main diagnoses.

Thank you I’m sure I’m going to need advice right now I’ve had a few problems and hospital trip had a lot of testing and done 2 monitors tests I also a leaky valve and a partly clogged artery so my Doctor gave Somme nitrogen pills for chest pains but they have not done anything other then a bunch of test and monitoring my high BP so I’m not sure what’s going on other then a bunch of tests and a Doctor visit every few months I can’t seem to get test results unless I complain about not being told what’s going
I have my chart so they should be posting but they are not so I’m sure what’s going on or what there pain is at this time it seems to me like it’s not to important to them but I’m really worried because most of my family has died from heart related issues sorry not trying to dump my problem on you my friend

Your more than welcome. Im not a doctor so understand I can't diagnose anything but can be an ear to listen (via Chat) and share things that I also have gone thru. So, I hope I can help more in way of support to understand something I have experienced myself.
I gather from your post so far that they are monition you and you have a leaking valve which depending on which value is quite common. I myself had what they called a heart Murmur which is the sound it makes when it closes and a small amount of blood leaks thru. That I actually had maybe since a kid myself and did not lead to my other problems. Now I'm guessing they are treating the BP problem with medication? Has you BP improved?
As for the pain I personally have not had any pain per say or on Nitro for the heart itself. I do know that a blockage depending on how much can cause pain . You mentioned a family history did you bring that up with your Doctors? also on that note Im assuming you are under the care of a cardiologist, You had mentioned rhythm problems in a prior post, did they say anything about what kind of rhythm problems. Thats the area I'm most familiar with. So my hope is that you can get some more answers as to the whole picture. I myself can relate to the fear of what's next so I'm hoping you receive some answers soon. Do you have a follow-up scheduled once all the tests are in?

Yes I do do have a rhythm problem my heart skips beat’s sometimes more then one at a time so they are trying to figure out why I do do a cardiologist and a good primary care doctor she the one that put me on the nitrogen incase I need it because the hospital ER gave it to help me when I was there , my BP is doing a lot better , the left ventricle I have a leak they done a stress test and say I’m a low risk but my chest pain tells me different it was 65% low risk I’m still learning a lot they said I was born it intarventricular conduction defect IVCD they do know about my family history I’m just trying to understand and learn all I can right now I ask a lot of questions but they don’t seem to want to share any information they don’t have to they tell me oh that test has not been read yet a lot I’m sure it has it’s been three months now so thank you letting me bend your ear have a good night sleep and a great day tomorrow ❤️🌼😎

Hi I went to my nurse practitioner, and she forgot to sent a request to see the cardio dr. So hopefully she will do that.

I always call mine or send a message to see that they do mine I’ve had that happen to before
Just to be sure it gets done about 2/3 days after I see them
I’m going to see my sister tomorrow she has Crones and it’s so sad I’ve been watching her slowly die over the years she’s been real sick Thad 6 months and she’s young she just 50 years old it makes me cry after seeing her she’s just wasting away
She’s down to about 80/90 pounds it’s a very nasty illness bi joined Mayo Clinic group for crones to see if I could get any information that could help her there’s no cure for her she will die from it breaks my heart ♥️

Last month my wife who has been very fortunate to have had good health all of her 76 years. Last month she complained of strange sensations in her chest and arms ( a tingling sensation) I took her to the ER and with the test they performed they found a glitch in EKG. We were able to see the Cardiologist in two weeks where he scheduled both an Echo and Stress test. Both of those test came back as good. I asked him to do a Halter Monitor 24 hr. Test. That came back showing that SVT was present, in the last couple of weeks she has had to deal with extreme anxiety / panic attacks. We do have appt. With an electrophysiology professional next month. The real issue is finding professionals to treat the anxiety / panic attacks.
I’m willing to take her wherever to get treatment.

Take her to a local mental council f office she not mentally I’ll but they can maybe give her a medication to help with her anxiety and panic attacks these are caused by stress
They will help her if she asks for help and three is nothing wrong with asking for help for something
