That is very nice of you to say, thank you. When my son asked me why I was on this website and I told him that only people who have gone through what I have can understand how terrible I feel. He doesn't get it. Initially he had empathy, now he is tired of hearing it so I never mention how I really feel to him.
Sue, I understand. I deal with the same from my family. I'm looked at as a hypochondriac or lazy. I've had to miss many family gatherings because I just didn't feel well enough to attend. I've gotten a lot of judgement because of that and it breaks my heart. I want nothing more than to be able to celebrate good times with my family, but there are just some days that I cannot enjoy anything and can't even pretend to have a good time so I ultimately end up avoiding social situations. Then the judgments come in. Because I have yet to been given a formal diagnosis, everyone in my life seems to think I am full of shit or something. It's truly disheartening.:-(

I feel like not 'looking' sick (when I actually feel well enough to attend anything) makes people think that nothing is wrong with me. If they only knew the daily struggle that I/we go through. Life has become much harder since the 'miracle' cure of Harvoni. For me. And for you, Interferon (plus additional meds). Would you mind sharing what your other meds were? If you don't feel comfortable sharing here publicly, would you be okay with sending me the info in a private message? I am an avid researcher. I will dig DEEP into this for all of us!

In one of his books, Medical Medium: Secrets Behind Chronic and Mystery Illness and How to Finally Heal, he discusses (in detail) the Epstein Barr Virus. And he suggests juicing celery. Just celery. Nothing else mixed in. 16 ounces every morning on an empty stomach and allow the healing to begin. It's really quite amazing. Juicing celery alone has so many health benefits, come to find out. I sure never knew lol! But after stumbling upon his info I was intrigued. I've had many "mystery" health issues for the past 3-4 years. But I never lost the long list of symptoms/reactions to taking harvoni. I am left with many side effects. Severe back pain, muscle, join,bone pain, tinnitus, head aches, brain fog, chronic fatigue, skin problems and that is just what I can remember at this time. I feel like doing treatment destroyed my life. I had a low viral load and no symptoms of the hep c. If I could go back in time I would NOT treat. Now I can't get any doctor to truly take me serious about the symptoms I am left with. anyone else out there with my same side effects
