Post kidney biopsy: AV fistula

Hi all,
On my latest ultrasound of my transplanted kidney, it shows a "post biopsy lower pole AV fistula". Has anyone been diagnosed with an AV fistula post kidney biopsy? (My last biopsy was over a year ago, so it's concerning to me that it didn't resolve).

I think you should definitely work with your Dad's nephrologist to have them send a referral and his medical records to your local transplant center. It's always best to get the process started as soon as possible. Many diabetics need kidney transplants, so that's not unusual. Have you met your father's local nephrologist? It may be a good idea to go with your Dad to speak with the doctor and express your desire to move forward to get your father on the transplant list.
