@bdaniels3434

I was diagnosed with IGA nephropathy in early 1990 and had a kidney transplant on 12/15/90. I just turned 54 and never had Covid and have always been super healthy and energetic and made all star teams in high school. I live in Phoenix and it has been a real shock to me regarding all the skin cancer from being a man living in Phoenix . I typically go every three months or so and my derm burns off all of my pre-cancerous AK’s. I’m currently using Effudex as a preventative measure for this and it is really unfortunate but you have to do what you have to do. Can anyone relate to this scenario? I really sucks. It would be really awesome to hear from someone and my similar situation.

Happy New Year 2023, I start by saying how grateful I am to this website. I do want to share a 9-10 yr venture which left my husband Stan, dead now 6/09/2022, 4 diagnosed dementias..4-5 chronic illnesses. Many specialists,hospices, rehabs,respites,memory care, neuros (I’m suspect of knowledge lacking to treat ‘dementia! Me, Bonita, his wife, suffering precancer polyps 15-16 yrs..rare types of polyps, a mass in colon concerning of malignancy,polyps in appendiceal Orifice! Surgery.. but tiny mass removed from appendix ( neoplasm= ( unknown?) But not malignant??? Fecal incontinance 5 yrs!internal Hemms. Other,issues. Facing surgery again! Had surgery 7-14-21! So nearly 85.. in 3 kind of health issues.. tying yet to get answers for competent surgery or ‘treatment’ DFW Dallas area,many hospitals ..but none meeting my urgent needs..I’ve tried 3X to get an appt at Mayo/Florida ( close to my 2 daughter's. And tried for my husband with advanced dementia..me sole caregiver..9 yes..now he’s deceased..a cruel not ‘ComfortCare by hospice!!! Thus us not ‘sour grapes but a conclusive attempt at closure so I can advocate for Alzheimer’s and Dementia/Lewy Body…all in total! Thanks so much for ‘how to’ get credible help!

How long ago were you diagnosed?

Hi, I´m interested in finding people that have had c1 c2 pannus surgery. I´ve had 2 neck, and 4 lower back surgeries. I´m scheduled to have pannus surgery on 2/13/2023. I´m very afraid of this surgery-the doctor has to open my spine from c1 to T2. First the c1 c2 for pannus, then to repair previous surgeries, and new bone disease. Is there ANYTHING else that would stop the pannus-stem cell therapy, laser?

Frankly, keto pills or gummis sound like one of those things that is marketed to be the silver bullet. Weight loss takes commitment and doesn't come in a pill form, in my humble opinion.

@chitacable, COVID recovery can be a long road for some people. You're not alone. Join the discussions in the Post-COVID Recovery & COVID-19 Support Group https://connect.mayoclinic.org/group/post-covid-recovery-covid-19/
