As the year draws to a close, I look back with appreciation for the connections and community you have built on Mayo Clinic Connect – connections that offer support, hope, and healing. We hope this year’s season fills you with the things that mean the most to you and sets the course for a peaceful and healthy new year.

As always Mayo Clinic Connect is available throughout the holidays – every day, every hour.

Meet other members, share experiences and find support from people like you.

Thank you for caring together. From all of us at Mayo Clinic Connect, we wish you and yours a healthy, relaxing, and safe holiday season.

@mimispree, that is a great idea. I have modified the title of the discussion you started in the Brain Tumor group and invite others to join. See here:

The doctors say I have post neuropathic pain from shingles around my mid-section. It has been several years of hot, burning, aching, super sensitive skin . The heat is the worst of all. I have tried B12 shots ; been to a pain clinic that could not help; endured other extremely painful shots of no help. I refuse to believe something cannot be done. I read about Intraneural Facilitation but it seems only available in California. It sounds like a possibility but I do not know if it would work around my waistline/ abdomen. Does anyone have any experiences on things that worked for this problem ? It greatly affects my sleep as well.

Thank you, Colleen. I will definitely join one of the groups. I think this is a wonderful thing Mayo Clinic is doing , connecting with others who have the same problems and are searching ,researching, and finding answers .
