Symptoms throughout the day: A pattern is emerging

Posted by prancer20 @prancer20, Jan 11, 2023

I am 5 weeks post covid positive test and I find that there seems to be a pattern emerging. I feel okay most mornings (especially after eating), okay until the mid to late afternoon and then some days I crash. I get tired and sometimes get those pesky palpitations and light headedness. After dinner, I feel a lot better again, and after a hot shower generally even better. This happens even if I have a mid afternoon snack. I also seem to have better blood pressure readings in the evening. has anyone else experiences this?

Dr Yoder recommended I go to Dr Volpp in Carlsbad. She perform EBOO. I have not tried it yet. I want to know more about it first. I have heard that it works great for post cancer treatments by cleaning and oxygenating the blood.

Have you tried looking into Marketplace Healthcare? The reason I was asking is they contacted me the other day and the gentleman told me that if I knew anyone else who needed any assistance to let you know I have his number and the reason I'm bringing this up is because the insurance that he got me set up on will cover covid clinics, I love it because you're able to choose alternative medicine it covers chiropractic physical therapy it covers all of it including aquatic physical therapy

It is real & people don’t get it I live in Scottsdale, AZ & the Mayo here has no long COVID program. There is one program here at Banner for long haul, but their locations are an hour away. Long haul damages our lives & no one seems to care. I have lost 22 pounds, cannot eat because I am so nauseous & cannot sleep. Have had 2 shots & 2 boosters & still got this. Am afraid to get the latest booster, as I am struggling through these long haul symptoms. Any suggestions on any sleeping medications, as some nights I cannot sleep at all? We need sleep to heal.

Yes or you can check at your local drugstore for an aid that is called melatonin or the other one is called valerian root and then your case I think I would go with the valerian root. There are options like the edibles that you were talking about if you can go up to a higher dose that might help you or even check with them to see if they have what's called jolly rancher those jolly ranchers are five-time potency I hope that helps you out and I really hope that you get well soon

Yes I have this problem as well. Needing.m to go to bed between 1pm to 6pm some nights, but for me this can mean being in bed until the next day. Acupuncture has reduced the intensity of thr fatigue a lot after the first treatment, but it hasn’t reduced the frequency of these fatigue issues, so now I am logging everything to find a pattern. It is as frequent as every few days.

Sorry to hear that you are like the rest of us. I myself find me up till some times 7 am the next day. I have overactive brain and it wants to talk about why is water blue and the grass green at 4 am so I end just staying awake cuz I don't want to miss the day. Lol I went up to 3 days like that and I finally fell asleep with my eyes open. Not cool. So, now I make sure to take Valerian Root or drink non caffeinated herbal tea. Take a warm bath and sometimes you may have to look at hemp or what is available in your state.

Long covid is real, no matter what others say. Hang in there.

I am still waiting to hear from the Covid Clinic. Supposedly, my primary has referred me and they needed a blood test showing I had Covid virus antibodies. I tested positive, so now they have what they need. I will be 6 weeks post Covid next week. I am not sure how long after virus is necessary for them to consider you "Long Covid". Scripps Health has a web site in which it includes "Long Covid Clinic". As soon as I have more info, I will let you know.

My primary doc explained yesterday that the WHO considers symptoms to be "Long Covid" after 12 weeks post infection. So I have 6 weeks to go before the Scripps Clinic will accept me. I hope that the symptoms will be subsiding by then! Only time will tell. I had a good day yesterday, not so sure what today will bring.
