Neuropathy Pain at Night: What helps?
THC or marijuana for me relieves pain from neuropathy. It works every time takes a few minutes and a few puffs of smoke and it comes it down for some crazy reason that makes this drug so popular.

In hospitals they use a device that is a half circle and attaches to each bedside at the foot. It allows the sheets to be elevated off your feet and lower legs. I’m certain a medical supply store would find one for you or the web.
I take gabapentin and nortryptiline before bed and it eliminates all pain. I have tried marijuana in different forms and it does nothing for pain. Aleve helps and on a few bad nights I use Percocet. Bedtime was always the worst time for me but the gabapentin and nortryptiline are life savers.
My neuropathy, related to back problems, is much worse at night when I get into bed, also when I spend long periods working at my desk. I find that a cold pack helps reduce any swelling as well as 15 mgm THC edible at bedtime. Does not reduce all of the numbness through the night but lets me get a decent nights sleep. Occasionally get an extreme painful cramp/spasm? on the outer part of my right foot and calf which means I have to get up in the middle of the night and move around. I will try the tumeric as well as raising my legs to hopefully release the back muscles.
I am just like you...been doing it since the 60's. It helps me get to sleep along with some Gabapentin. Seem to wake up with no pain.
As the day goes on I start to feel numbness like duct tape on the bottoms of my feet.
I got this stuff in Arizona at a swap meet in Mesa called Chi Body Lotion. It seems to cool the effect for a time, but only for awhile. It is advertised as "Accupunture in a bottle". It's expensive. 30oz bottle is $150. 2oz is $20.
I keep posting this people are going to think I get paid by saying this but binaural beats by GOOD VIBES and NINAD music and others play sound therapy music. People in the comments swear by it. they say it helps their pain. I use it, it calms me but I believe some healing is happening. Try Nerve regeneration videos and put on headphones or not and see what happens. Hold onto hope because it is there!
I use a shower seat and small plastic foot stool to keep my feet out of the water. Works for me.
