Neuropathy Pain at Night: What helps?
THC or marijuana for me relieves pain from neuropathy. It works every time takes a few minutes and a few puffs of smoke and it comes it down for some crazy reason that makes this drug so popular.

Strangely perhaps, but for neuropathy pain at night, rubbing Vicks Vapo Rub into the affected area before going to bed helps. (Note: "rubbing" rather than just applying.)
Who knew that the product rubbed on our chests for colds when we were children would have important benefits in our later lives?
My legs hurt all day. The only relief I get is when medicine knocks me out. Then I cry in the morning because I know what is going to happen when I wake up.
I saw a video on neuropathy and krill oil on youtube.
said it helps the pain. I went to store and bought
some krill oil the dosage was like 125mg
I took 2 pills. Went to bed at 9pm that night, my feet did not hurt for the 1st time
in years. I was very excited, my feet were 90 percent better
Good to hear. It would be helpful if you provide an update in another week or so. In the meantime, I'll do some research as well.
So happy for you, keep us posted.
I'm using krill oil for years now, even before neuropathy started, but no help with pain.
Same here. I am adding straight fish oil now too and seeing if the addition helps.
It has helped with the "electrification" of my feet. that part of the neuropothy has changed.
My feet do feel better but I still have neuropathy.
Hello @ttmaudlin and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. Since you mentioned taking it before bed and having success, I wanted to bring your post into an existing discussion on night pain and neuropathy, so you will see I've moved your post here:

I am glad to see other members such as @bimshire and @sharka have joined you. How long have you been using it?
couple of weeks. I find it helps to include regular fish oil in addition to krill oil the additions seems to help pain is way down. I really can't believe it.
In the afternoon my pain usually starts to tingling and my feet feel cold. Adding warmth doesn't help but I start with Voltaren gel which helps a little for a while. Unfortunately, the pain sneaks up on me and b y dinner's end my toes are in excruciatingly pain. I put more Voltaren gel, take Robinorol, take Tramadol and gently wrap my feet in a warming pad. The evening and night are the worst. I often have to take more Tramadol and sleep med. In the morning my toes are warm and pain free. For a few hours I can forget about my feet.
