What helps improve osteoporosis without medication?
Hello, did anyone here try to heal from osteoporosis away from all the prescribed medications we all know of? Did you try following a specific diet? Excercise? Meditation, etc. ? Thank you

The Brand of Collagen I use is Native Path. I researched several collagen brands and found this one to be the most based in science. The website is very helpful for getting you started. I hope you have success with it! It is really helping me.
thank you very much i will try it
thanks for the responce 👍👍
Yikes. I told my primary care doctor I was stopping Prolia and he didn’t say anything. What type of specialist knows about osteoporosis? I think I should talk to a doctor that knows about osteoporosis because apparently my primary care doc doesn’t.
Only endocrinologists and rheumatologists are trained and frankly only the young ones as it’s not been an issue for too long. Primaries and gynecologists are giving out very bad information. Some not what they’re talking about but many do not.
Thank you! I too was looking forward to the brand name of Collagen so thanks for your post. Kolika
Make sure that you find a physician who has an active practice of patients with osteoporosis. I went with an endocrinologist because I like that they understand whole systems of the body. Not that other physicians don't understand the body, but so many medicines affect thyroid and other endocrine systems so I figure that a good endocrinologist has a better Big Picture understanding of how the whole thing works.
I was just diagnosed what did you do to get your numbers so much better. Can. you share your daily routine of supplements and vitamins please. thank you
Does anyone know if omeprazole helps contribute to osteoporosis
Yes. Omeprazole and its brand version, Prilosec. These two drugs can also cause Chronic Kidney Disease (or renal failure, since most people don't know they have CKD until something goes really wrong). I have had both effects from omeprazole. I have found that some doctors know these side effects and caution to take a PPI short-term, and others have no clue. I would think the least one should do if on this med is to check kidney function and bone density on a regular basis (btw my CKD resolved after stopping omeprazole. Not so lucky with osteoporosis). https://www.drugs.com/omeprazole.html and

My dr suggested 2 lbs on each hip(not on chest) sorry, 2 lbs on each ankles and 2 lbs on each wrist while walking. I use my weight in my. home. OMG after I remove them at night I feel as if I could float. Just my own experience. Weight has to be evenly distributed according to my exercise dr. I am baffled by the weights on chest? Investigate. If possible dr also explain a small trampoline is excellent also while watching tv with bars for safety and support, Good luck, Also consider Vit D and K
