What helps improve osteoporosis without medication?
Hello, did anyone here try to heal from osteoporosis away from all the prescribed medications we all know of? Did you try following a specific diet? Excercise? Meditation, etc. ? Thank you

And with the alternatives used, do test results and dexa scans show improvements? My understanding is that the changes you make help, maintain, but do not build back what is lost. Do your latest scans actually show built back bone?
I started at 1 pound..went up 1/2 pound every few days..at 5 pounds I stayed for a week or so..then added 1/2 pound etc. now I’m at 10 (you’re supposed to do 10% of body weight, which is 12 for me, so I have a bit to go!) just don’t start too heavy or go too fast, you can end up with injuries that you don’t want! The research I saw says 7500 steps is best for all conditions..so I have my fit counter set for that. If I get near the end of the day and see that I am short on steps, I’ll just march in place while watching TV in the evening. I use the vest while I vacuum etc.. and doing squats and other exercises. I end each session daily with Sara Meeks decompression exercises which are a dream come true. I think the vest is an excellent addition to a program to help, as muscle stressors are huge help. I’m going to start Loren Fishmans 12 exercise yoga series which seems to show results too.
If you have not tried the Sara Meeks exercises (there are several) you are missing out! Really great! They look simple, but wow..
Best of luck and health
not outside you must have it near a shower when you get out of it you are loaded with epsom salt
you have to rinse off
but try it in a comercial setting some places only charge $39.00 a session look up depervation chambers or salt tanks near me the 1 time they should give you a huge discount !Good luck it keeps me happy as a lark and i am in severe pain with this severe Fracture!!!!!
Loren Fishman's yoga is part of my regimen, too. Somewhere he recommended holding each pose for an optimal amount of time, maybe 40-60 seconds??
i you are depressed try the tank it should be good for 2 weeks if not do it sooner than 2 weeks
I have found when i was depressed i changed my alkaline level i read if you are 7% alkaline it is hard to get depressed and drinking green vegetable juice changed my alkaline i juice every day it is hard but you feel GREAT GREAT GREAT
I am not a doctor but that worked for me i was 5.5% alkaline now i am 6.75 i am in a lot of PAIN but not DEPRESED happy
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!
If it was me i would try the comercial tank and the juices is a pain in the ass but you can do it at home
yoga is great
Also wheat GRASS is good i do 2 oz a day
Sorry just thinking i have see and talked to persons who used it BUT EVERY PERSONS BODY AND MIND IS DIFFERENT do not even think about buying anything until you try it time and time again! that is my 2 cents
Thank you for such specifics, a road map helps me immensely. I have appreciated others input too, but haven't been able to keep up with this site lately (been studying election stuff, which is a burn out). I am now currently working with a Physical Therapist and will have an opportunity to ask her about the exercises you mentioned. Thank you and everyone else who has taken their time to respond, it is most helpful.
I love his program.. he suggests 12-72 seconds ( big range!!) but this is enough to stimulate osteocytes. Just hold long enough..but not so long tgat you lose form, which is most important.
I have just bought a HEALTHY WAVE MAT I SPOKE TO the manufacture and they claim it will help osteoporosis
