Hello

It has been awhile sense I have had any problems. but latley I have had some issues with Taxotere (Docetaxel) hair falling out, 4 teeth needed pulled. problems at times with breathing. constipation. mouth so dry it goes all the way down your belly. on a mouth rinse it helps alittle. ankel swelling, legs hurt and burn so bad had to get a walker. hate to get off of this because it is helping with shrinking my tumor's and it has not spread anywhere else. so I have had 1 1/2 yrs of treatment and I am thankful I am still kicking. (lucky lady) just wondering if anyone else has had problems with this chemo treatment.
Any information will help.
Thanks to all God Bless.

I take a lot of iron and B12 that seems to help with the beathing. I think sometimes the cure is worse than the cancer. If they wouldn't have found the cancer, I would not know that I had cancer

I am a month past my ct scan showing a mass on my left lung. I too had terrible anxiety while waiting for pet scan mri and biopsy results. My way of coping has been to lean on family and my faith. Although the results confirmed cancer they also showed hope for a treatable type with no surgery or chemo. The last step is where I am now and after 19 days I learned that the lab didn't have enough tissue, so I am back to waiting for next steps. It's tough and I can't give any great advise accept that we are being treated by the best team of doctors in the country and I keep reminding myself that the wait will be worth it when they know the exact DNA to treat.

Oh, @lindev, waiting is tough, but to do it all over again because there wasn't enough tissue is really tough. You seem to approach this with a remarkably healthy attitude. And you're right, the more they know about your cancer and its genetic make-up, the better.

I hope you were able to celebrate Thanksgiving with your family, which is obvioiusly important to you. Having loved ones around helps, doesn't it?
