Post COVID hair loss: Will it grow back?

I had co:vid in June and a out 8weeks ago my hair started to fall out..I know this is a part of the long term covid...has anyone else had this problem? What did you all do? And how long did it last?

My hair loss started about 3 months after I got Covid. Lasted about 3 months for me. Never lost all my hair but it sure got thin. And I have very thin hair to begin with.

My dermatologist prescribed Finasteride (half a tablet daily). It has made a huge difference with no side effects.

I used black cumin seed capsules to help my hair grow back after covid.

To try finasteride, did you have a medical diagnosis other than thinning of your hair post covid?

I just visited my Dermatologist - in his office, they have a doctor who specializes in hair loss. He examined my shedding head of hair, listened to my COVID story and prescribed Finasteride.

Did that help you with regrowth? My hair is falling out all by itself since I had covid in june 2022...help🙏

Try a supplement called Biotin, about a 5000 dose daily. It is safe & effective. Also use Biotin shampoo.
I did not have Covid, but an extremely traumatic medical problem.
The hair growth will take many months, so be patient.

I'm sorry for the trauma and hair loss you two are having to go through.
I've been vaccinated 6 times. I got covid and pneumonia September, 2022. I was vaccinated in October, 2022. My skull started burning and hurting after the 6th shot and I lost a patch of hair, then one week passed and the same thing happened and I lost another patch of hair, 1 week passed again, and the same thing happened and I lost a 3rd patch of hair.

My neutrophils were extremely elevated last week when I did blood work and I’ve lost 5 pounds.

My friend has also lost a lot of hair but her skull was itching a lot before she decided to cut most of it off because of severe hair thinning.

I’m terrified because I’ve never had hair loss and my parents have never suffered hair loss.
