Anyone familiar with pH balanced 7% saline, rather than acidic type?

I was searching for information on how Upper Airway Reflux may influence Bronchiectasis and came across this interesting 7% saline called PulmoSal™ 7% (pH+) Bio-Balanced™ Hypertonic Saline. Which may be better than the more acidic type that most of us are probably using. Does anyone use this or know anything about it? The information on their website is compelling.

I think everyone in this forum would agree that nebulizing saline regardless of strength or pH is a very important part of airway clearance for Bronchiectasis and/or NTM. https://bronchiectasisnewstoday.com/bronchiectasis-experimental-treatments/hypertonic-saline-solution/?cn-reloaded=1

At an external pH of 5, the internal pH of M tuberculosis H37Ra was close to 7, indicating that mycobacteria are able to maintain a neutral internal pH in an acidic environment (105), and other studies have confirmed this observation in M. smegmatis and virulent M.22/05/2009

what does this mean exactly? does it mean Mycobacteria will not be affected one way or the other by a less acidic saline?

Hi Irene-
I was looking for an answer about saline affecting /causing worse acid reflux with any of the health problems that do cause acid reflux. I came across this thread but I see for those of us that aren't scientists needed a further explanation.
Have you come to understand the differences in the solutions named in this thread?
If so, did you ever find out which one is better for acid reflux, Pseudomonas, etc.?
Any thoughts with regard to all?
Hope you are O.K. and feeling well enough to put on your thinking cap (when not feeling well that can be a chore), with this thread being from a couple of years ago, and reply. 🤔😊
