1 ReactionDr McBath in Houston Texas May help you. He can get you a medical card. He’s a oncologist breast surgeon also.

2 ReactionsJust be aware, if he is shipping you THC in the mail you're playing with fire crossing state lines through the Postal Service. If you're talking about CBD oil without THC then you are fine.
You're in CA where the green movement is revolutionary. If you are getting THC through the mail, I'd consider seeing a local dispensary to avoid breaking Federal Law.

1 ReactionI also have chronic migraine. Could the cause be a med you are taking? My doctor would not listen to me, so I did a little experimenting. Turns out, it was a blood pressure med: Hydralazine. My migraines have been reduced by ~50%. My doc finally substituted another med.
I was taking Botox for migraine about every 3 months. Injections are a little painful, but I was able to tolerate.
It helps; you still get them, but not as painful. The manufacturer has a program that gives you a refund, just call them. I have commercial ins, so had to pay $600 up front, then submit paperwork to get almost all back. I would charge on credit card, then pay it.
I have found CBD to be ZERO benefit for my Rheumatoid & osteo arthritis, fibromyalgia, plantar fasciitis, & migraine disease. I’ve only tried lotion, not pills. It’s so expensive to not work, but might order pills/gummies to try…
However, ID the med causing them has helped the most.
Yeah, that was my experience back in college, 1970’s Austin. Everyone was smoking pot, but me. Hated it.
I did try the lotion from the pharmacy, but it did nothing. I also tried something sublingual, maybe an oil or tincture, zero help. I’ll try the pills/gummies next, maybe…
Pain docs are not helpful anymore. They only want to do high $$$ “procedures”. If you don’t have good health ins and a good job, you’re screwed.
Oxycodone is the only thing that has ever helped me, but I am a poor metabolizer so makes sense. At 69, I never abused it, always had good drug tests, but my doc died and new doc won’t prescribe.
It’s time for this chronic pain situation to be re-examined. CBD is not the answer for all.

4 ReactionsNo THC for me. Oil only. I have a store near me, but I wasn’t impressed. Felt sales person didn’t have any real knowledge about the products.

1 ReactionThis is wonderful information. I will certainly investigate whether I qualify. Thank you so much
Dr Mark McBath Google him
I take 10/20 mg of gummy based TCH when my arthritis or broken rib hits hard. While the TCH doesn't really get rid of the pain it does take my mind off it. Sometimes you can smell and taste the Marihuana. Doctors just don't give out drugs that work anymore (that's my experience), and the non-opioid drugs doctors have prescribed me for chronic pain were not effective. The worst non-opioid drugs for me was Cymbalta and Lyrica. Those are really nasty - especially to get off them. I'd stay away from those. For me, I'd rather have access to the opioid, these work best for me I could function almost normally, the TCH makes me useless. When I did have access to opioids I did not become an drug seeking addict when I stopped using them. Also I tried high doses of CBD, which did nothing but take my money. Oh there is nothing different about medical or recreational marihuana, its all the same. Hope this helps.

2 ReactionsChris, I am on 75mgs of Lyrica three times a day. If I take even a very small amt of Indica THC at bedtime, I still can’t fall asleep after lying there 1 hr, so I take 2 mgs of Zolpedim and then fall asleep. The next afternoon if I sit on the couch, I can’t stay awake. What do you recommend I do differently at bedtime so I can avoid the sleepiness the next day?
